I have had the please of knowing Dave for many years. Dave has always impressed me with his intelligence, his wit had humor, and his ability see trends long before anyone else. When Dave comments about events he sees on the horizon I take notice because for over 20 years I have yet to see a pivot or trend in the world not play out almost exactly as he predicted long before anyone else is even noticing. I do not know where Dave found his crystal ball but I hope he never stops sharing what he sees!!

Dave is such an engaging speaker with his humble, realistic, and conversational style. Our audience was riveted as he took us through an economical journey of the human experience and how technology will change how we will do business in the future. Dave obviously took the time and effort to craft his presentation for our members and it definitely paid off with the great feedback we got after our big annual event. I highly recommend Dave as a speaker.

Helped get the lights turned on with my then-mentor Leo Hindery; then was the junior M&A analyst, then got the opportunity to crawl under houses and climb telephone poles and move to the operating side of the business. Was given the wheel in McKenzie, Tennessee, and then got to move to Nashville to run the state, and later the whole eastern half of the country. Had great success and totally let it go to my head, so Hindery fired my by-then-insufferable ass. Reported to the president of the Newspaper Division and spent some wonderful months at the company's papers -- the Bloomington Pantagraph and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette -- as a business writer. Left to follow the Chronicle's CFO, Leo Hindery, who had originally hired me, and help create InterMedia Partners.
