  My responsibilities include programming builds for both the SLA & SLS machines, ensuring that parts are built to deadlines whilst requiring minimal post processing. I have also taken on some knowledge of the machines, in order to prevent downtime due to machine issues.More recently I have taken on the responsibility of running our in house FDM process, working closely with design & applications engineers to help deliver FDM solutions for composite tooling.   My role here involves looking after the whole process of Stereolithography & Selective laser sintering, from the start of the build up to the final hand finishing of the components. I also work in a support role to the production engineers, providing help programming parts when needed.

  This role involved the hand finishing of Stereolithography & Selective laser sintered parts, including finishing aerodynamic surfaces, reaming holes & checking dimensions of components.I also took on the responsibility of managing the builds on the machines, from starting builds, to preparing the machines for a new build, to fixing any issues with the machine that may occur during my shift.
