We have had the pleasure of David as one of our trainers for just under a year now. I would have to say that David’s style of training has been one of the most effective I have experienced to date. I like the no nonsense approach to the day, we are in training, the world won’t fall down in that day let’s make the most of it, be on time and be in the room! The way the day is conducted is great. There is no opportunity for that switch off, you are kept active and interactive throughout. Theory is vital of course but the way it’s put into action and little tactics to break up the day are excellent. Yes you are challenged, but in a really constructive way, it’s not painful and you can see the learning points throughout. The way the follow up is done is great, we are always given clear actions to take, and reminded of these part way and encouraged to do the best we can. On top of this David’s character being so positive/engaging and fun just makes the day enjoyable it doesn’t feel like you are being taught/lectured. You can tell he loves his job and he is certainly the right person to be doing it. I think the fact he has experience in the recruitment sector is great as he can refer to situations that we see and feel every day, however saying that many times its not needed so I don’t think you need to be in this field to benefit from David’s training. I do genuinely look forward to the training days and one to one sessions as you always get something out of that time, you really do want to do well.       Before joining Lead Talent Management Consultancy I'd spent over 17 years in the recruitment industry working in both the operations and learning and development arena with both large corporate organisations and SME's. My focus has always been on developing a workforce's capabilities, skills and competencies, in order to create a sustainable, successful and profitable business, and I see this as a critical part of any overarching business strategy. I've worked with recruitment professionals at all levels and abilities from a broad spectrum of industries. I've always had a genuine passion for people development and for delivering a direct impact on not only an individual's performance but on the wider business. You could never accuse me of being a 'chalk and talk' trainer, far from it in fact. My approach is high energy and interactive, encouraging learners to attack head on the challenges they face through an action-centric approach. It would be very rare for me to recommend a piece of training in isolation. To be truly effective my training sessions would often be accompanied where appropriate with follow-up coaching sessions where I would oversee the practical application of the knowledge and skills in every day, live scenarios. I can quickly assess the skills and knowledge within your organisation, determine what training is needed to grow and retain these skills and equip teams with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their work-related tasks using my practical and engaging approach.
