  The organisation and set up of a brand new machine shop to service the companies’ own tool room and sub contract machining orders. Research and procurement of the appropriate tooling for the various manufactured components was undertaken. The use Vero CAD CAM software to create 2d and 3d programmes to efficiently produce one off and small batch quantities of machined parts. A tool list and set up diagram was created to convey the manufacturing instructions to the Setter Operators. These employees where trained in company processes and how to effectively use the machine tools. Key Successes • The creation of a standardised tool library within the Vero software which matched the machine tools to minimise programming and set up times. • The procurement of a tooling vending machine to complement the tool library effectively meeting the companies tooling demands.
