      Senior Operator Organise and maintain the day-to-day running of the Operations Department, which controls the movements of oil into and around the UK by ship, barge, pipeline, train and road. Liaise with supply team to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained across 5 oil terminals Import cargoes from NWE / Scandinavia / Baltic / Black Sea. Issue instructions to inspectors, agents and superintendants at load and diport. Contract checking and approval. Quality monitoring, tank transfers, pipeline receipts, FAME blending, Demurrage – avoidance and processing. Pricing of purchases and bulk sales - using calculations based on Platts and EFP. High level of communications with other departments including sales, supply and finance and colleagues in other countries. Assist finance department with letter of credits, assist risk department with correct hedging. Data entry, scheduling, accounts processing, agreeing receipts and transfers per inventory. Show less
