Reporting to the project manager, I helped build a fibre department to support our civils operations on the Gigaclear contract. Growing our team from 4 to 18 in a short space of time, whilst building a full fibre network at pace I was tasked to recruit, procurement and point of contact for suppliers such as Mills and Fujikura, line manager for 15 engineers, managing network build roll out and fault & test team, ordering and maintaining tooling and consumables, owning the fibre test & commissioning data, inputting daily productivity reports from splice and test teams, site audits, quality audits amongst other day to day duties. My biggest accomplishment was helping us achieve the first 1000 pots rfs in 1 month for Gigaclear, at that point was a big achievement. Show less
