My position initiated the Energy & Water conservation department, developed processes, captured, managed and negotiated $4,000,000 plus in incentive agreements, including fully funded engineering studies & audits with the local utilities. Over $3,500,000 in water, gas & electric savings over the almost four years. Developed, engineered & implemented vertical and linear project scopes. Including completing the first ESPC lead by example project in CT. The portfolio ROI for the past three years has been a 5.6 year simple payback. Maintained relationships with the utilities and stakeholders. Supported implementation of metering at the various campus’s for evaluation of building performance. Developed, administrated and directed the implementation of the CT Retro Commissioning program for the Connecticut Energy Efficiency fund (CEEF) in Eversource (CL&P) territory for over 10 years. Noted as one of the best programs administrated in the US by the 3rd party evaluation team hired by the energy efficiency board to review programs and document the impact. During those 10 years, managed the retro commissioning of 19 buildings with three different commissioning teams on the UCONN Storrs campus savings the campus over $2M / year in operating costs.
