Joined as a Senior Consultant into the FS practice focusing on test manager roles gaining rapid promotion by running complex change programmes including large data migrations and data warehouse implementations. Project Manager - Running teams of EY, Client, Contractor and External Consultancies on designing and implementing new semantic layer on top of a complex data warehouse. - Key challenges resolved include securing monthly release into IT outside of group drops, minimising physical data volumes on a costly platform, extremely complex batch scheduling ensuring no impact on current BAU delivery and integrating with multiple sources with a variety of data quality challenges Test Manager - Running several test teams across multiple business units and offshore IT for a large migration of a billing platform. Managed critical path plan to ensure focus was on correct activities whilst resolving cross team execution dependencies - Defect Management role included running triage calls with development teams, chairing meetings with business stakeholders to ensure resolution effort prioritised on delivering maximum value against the project objectives. This prioritisation and de-scoping was essential in making the programme deadline which held dependencies with huge financial impact - Created a 'defect glide path' based on predicted timelines from a large data set of defect and execution data captured throughout several projects from current and previous programmes. This was used to give stakeholders a go live date they could report upwards on with confidence. The predicted burn rate was then recorded versus actual which instantly became the focus of steerco meetings until go live - Drove strong project governance and trace-ability between requirements and test cases which when reviewed by internal audit was given top rating. As a result owned delivery excellence across the programme, increasing confidence of senior stakeholders and mitigating any risk on the EY brand Show less
