Bio
John Berger
I worked with Dave for nearly three years at VPS. In that time, I found him to be extremely diligent, well-rounded, and I never stopped being surprised by his resourcefulness or preparedness. If a project needed doing, even if not within his direct purview, he was more than willing to contribute to the solution. As he worked (and continues to work...) on rolling out the alarm program at VPS: managing the installers, users, and customers, troubleshooting, and establishing training protocols, he not only got the job done, but went above and beyond. One of the best traits Dave exhibited in my dealings with him was a willingness to learn new ways to work: to ask if he had a question. He has the humility to know what he does not know, paired with the ability and the wherewithal to learn/acquire the knowledge. That trait is a boon to any team, and rare enough when dealing with someone who has the experience/knowledge he does. Dave was an asset to our team, and would be an asset to any organization of which he was a member.
