Dave and I worked, for a number of years, as part of a large team at Worthy FM, Glastonbury Festival's onsite radio station. He is friendly, always willing to help colleagues and highly-skilled at his role. Myself and the rest of the team have often witnessed him masterfully 'save the day' with his technical knowhow and professional approach. I would work in any team Dave was a part of.

Dave is a joy to work with, ever positive, helpful, professional and a wicked DJ to boot!

After restructuring and re-branding as Verteda Ltd, I remain the consultant engineer on all matters relating to comms and infrastructure for our high profile customer base. I am also one of the engineers responsible for the installation, configuration, site work, training and support for the POS product we sell, including mobile and handheld system deployment and card payment integration. • Presenter and IT Consultant: Worthy FM (Glastonbury Festival)
      • 2007 - Present

Through working as a volunteer at Glastonbury Festival's official website between 2000 and 2008 I made a connection with Worthy FM and presented a few shows. This broadened to pitching in one year while they experienced some IT infrastructure problems. The following year they asked me to join their team on a permanent basis during the festival season, which I do in my spare time. As a charitable enterprise, the festival raises a six figure sum for various charities every year including Greenpeace, Oxfam and Water Aid. I advise on IT policy during the festival, design and maintain the physical network and handle the live web streaming throughout the broadcasting period. More challenging than it sounds, given that this all takes place during the world's busiest music festival and is located on a dairy farm :) Show less
