David's expertise were brought into Scholl's Wellness Company as Transformation Director to deliver a complex carve out project from large strategic, to a new fully formed SME in a very tight 12 month timeline. Within this time Dave's positive impact cannot be underestimated in ensuring what was the successful land of the programme with excellence. Dave's style from the get-go was one of first understanding the magnitude of the task, then setting out a clear hands-on approach in actionable format to the newly emerging team within the business. By balancing both the big picture of what was required, with a detailed programme of how to get there, Dave was able to deliver a clear plan & confidence to the business. Where the project set covered over 30 market territories, a full range of regulatory classification products & a yet to be fully established operating model, the fact the programme kept to schedule is a great reflection that Dave was there to push. What sets Dave apart from his peers is not only the absolute rigour, drive & tenacity in getting the programme across the line. But more uniquely is the fact that he truly cares about both the business & individuals involved. His council throughout provided confidence to the whole programme from senior leaders to interns, where a both direct & mentoring style were adapted in ensuring morale was held even in the more challenging times of the programme. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave for any future transformation project, where he would be a material asset to any programme or team who are lucky enough to have him.

Dave came into lead the Carve out and Transformational change of the Global Scholl Brand from big corporate into Private Equity in what was a very complex programme covering 50 markets, 7 different regulatory classifications and exit of TSA’s in under 12 months. Dave was the orchestrator and driving force for our success. He came in at a critical point a couple of months into our 12-month programme and quickly got to grips with the huge complexity and broke it down into manageable workflows for the different functions. He distilled down the 2000 line project into a plan on a page and guided us by the hand through it all, whilst also managing everyone’s expectations on how tough it will be, but we will get through it – which we did! Dave genuinely cares when he absorbs himself into the project and became the linchpin for the exit and stand-up. He brings a wealth of experience where is it is very clear he has been there before and not just ‘consulting’. He gets his ‘hands dirty’ and works tirelessly (often without sleep!) until the job is complete. Dave sees the whole picture of what is happening on the programme and gets involved in every function, with his finger on the pulse on what is happening and how to connect the dots. Dave’s charisma and story telling is also a huge advantage for sharing the vision, taking the organisation on the journey and motivating people through tough periods. I could not recommend Dave highly enough for carve outs, stand-ups and transformational change. What he delivered in the time at Scholl was phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him on the exec leadership team and would love to work with him again.
