My role in Sensa is versatile and we often refer to the phrase „To wear many hats”, which applies in my case, referring to different roles and responsibilities. I’m a Key account manager, working with Icelandic companies in most verticals, public institutions, municipalities and the government. I also work as a sales consultant, mainly been involved in Collaboration, Networking, Wireless Networks and security solutions. Working closely with Sensa’s experts in each field to provide the best solutions for our customers. My role developed to have a main focus on Collaboration solutions as a sales consultant and I’ve also been responsible for the business relationship with some of Sensa‘s collaboration partners, e.g. Cisco, Pexip, Zylinc, Verint Verba and many more. I’ve also been involved in business development and I’m responsible for Sensa´s collaboration sales budget, both annual and monthly goals - CRM. Managing Director, Career Days in Iceland 2004 and 2005. ( Icelandic; Framadagar) Career Days is an annual event and one of the biggest events in the university student life each year. The goal of the event is to strengthen the link between students and the professional sector by putting together a trade show of companies looking for talented young people. During Career Days 2004, we introduced a new learning experience in the form of micro lecturers, which became a success and has been a part of the event since. The event attracts each year over 2000 students and more than approximately 40 of the biggest companies in Iceland from various sectors. As the Managing director of Career Days 2004 and 2005, I was responsible for amongst other, to form the team of 6-12 people, where each person had a role and different obligations. I supervised the team and trained for various roles. I was in contact with all of the companies during the event and was recognised for a job well done from couple of companies. The planning of Career Days takes about 4-6 months and I gained experience in various fields, such as: - Management - Event Management - Project Planning - Corporate relations - Corporate sales - Client management - Corporate finance - Marketing - Public relations Show less
