Since SHEIKE began, we have always believed that style is the way you show who you are without saying a word. We started small, with a simple t-shirt stand at Sydney Markets in 1975 and since these early beginnings making style an expression of yourself has always been key. By the late 1970s we had opened our first women’s apparel store under Sydney’s iconic Centrepoint Tower. From here we began to evolve into something much more, with several new stores opening across Sydney. Soon, our family of like-minded women grew, who all realised that life was too short to wear boring clothes. In 2006 we launched into the eCommerce space and soon after began expanding interstate, opening stores in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia. Now with 36 stores nationally, a dedicated online presence and an ever-evolving range we believe, that your style tells a story and that every day can be a style statement. As an area manager, i was appointed in charge of all the recruitment and training across multiple stores in Victoria. I was responsible for the training and development programs across 4 stores in Melbourne. I was in charge of a large team of girls, managing and mentoring them across multiple sites across VIC. I successfully set up and operated 3 new stores within major Shopping Centre's such as Eastland, Southland and Chadstone. My role as a senior store manager not only allowed me to be a great leader, I was also responsible for the operational processes such as all rosters, VM and start to end recruiting.
