  A service level agreement role to assist the housing management team with the smooth running of a student residential scheme, including the provision of an ‘out of hours’ service and pastoral care for postgraduate and undergraduate student residents. As a student warden, we are expected to be an active, flexible and dedicated member of the residential on-site team, providing assistance with student arrivals at the start of the tenacy year and assisting with the tenants to shift into their flats comfortably. During the tenacy year, student wardens are responsible for the welfare of the residents, dealing with any issues arising in relation to the accommodation outside office hours and provide assistance with the maintenance and enforcing strict health and safety guidlines throughout. Prior to the end of the tenacy, help tenants move out of their accomodations smoothly and carry out deatailed inventory checks on resident rooms, advising them of applicable charges, collecting and signing for keys, and filling of all the required paperworks.   As a part of the summer training program, had this incredible opportunity to receive training and work in a one of its kind steel plant. The whole training program was very educational, and I was able to learn and experience the working and functioning of a Steel Plant. This whole training program made me able to attain all the necessary knowledge and experience required to be skillful enough to work in a fast-paced environment of a steel plant and added the necessary confidence to my character.
