My responsibilities include bringing new projects in the City of Bartlesville to completion. From the initial idea stage to the final product I get to be involved all the way. I also am able to help the community to have a cleaner environment. Through my involvement with the City of Bartlesville's Stormwater program I get to work with people, both individuals and business, to keep our water clean.I also get to help with the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection event. Over the years we have kept thousands of pounds of dangerous chemicals out of our landfills.

At Sherwood I was able to work with some of the best people I have ever met. Mintech is where I began to learn how to be an engineer. They gave me the chance to learn how to interact with clients and the public.I was also able to begin to learn the various environmental and safety regulations. These are skills that I continue to develop.I was also able to gain insight into the world of environmental remediation. I was able to work and help lead the team that performed the National Zinc Area soil remediation in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Through our efforts the area was not placed on the National Priorities List (NPL).
