The creation of lunaTECH SEO Agency resulted from the need for helping clients transition from a Web Team and SEO Team to a single digital marketing agency. Quite often the relationship between the client, developers, and SEO can break down cover ownership, creative differences, and task turn around delays. By working with a single company capable of providing all the required services results can be achieved quicker, and with a higher conversion rate through effective design and optimization.My responsibilities at lunaTECH SEO Agency were helping to develop the brand through content creation recommendations, develop link building tactics, consult with clients, participate in sales calls, and assist in overseeing of campaign execution. Due to time constrains with ongoing development of a link building analysis tool I am developing I had to step down from lunaTECH at the end of 2011 due to time constraints, and have provided only consulting since.

Originally I was contracted by Beanstalk to do Search Engine Optimized Website Template conversions, converting old websites into Pure CSS & XHTML websites utilizing either PHP or Server Side Includes. After just a few projects for Beanstalk Search Engine Optimization I was offered enough money to leave the company I previously worked for them as the Director of SEO Services.As Director of SEO Services it is my role to do advanced Search Engine Optimizations. This includes Template Conversions, Keyword Research & Analysis (Competitor Research & Density Optimization), Structural Optimizations, PHP optimizations, Mod Rewrites, Project Management, XHTML/CSS Template Slicing from Photoshop Images, Researching and Article Copywriting, Website Internet Marketing, Telephone Customer Service & Consulting, qualifying leads from incoming calls, SEO Strategy and Vendor Networking.For the last 3 years I was in charge of the majority of SEO sales which helped contribute towards the company growing from a team of 3, to a team of 11 fulltime SEO employees working full time. I also implemented changes to the SEO Packages to make them more cost effective for small businesses. During my tenure we grew our SEO client base from a single whiteboard of clients, to over 200 active campaigns.

At Atomic Crayon one of the largest web design companies in Victoria BC I was a web developer specializing in SEO Friendly PSD to XHTML/CSS template slicing and coding, content populating and styling, structural SEO reviews, and PHP coding. I was involved with large scale web design and development projects with budgets that ranged up to 500+ hours of web design, development, and copywriting. I also contributed to weekly team meetings, provided development time estimates, and helped with other employees CSS questions. I was head hunted away from Atomic Crayon by Beanstalk Search Engine Optimization.

During my interview for my job they let me know that they thought they had the wrong person currently working as the only employee in their web department which was running at a large loss. In less than 3 months my billable was higher than his monthly billable, and they let him go. After 17 months of effectively running the department I had driven the revenue up by 900%, and the department up to 3 staff members. I was also the brains behind developing SEOCMS which was a more search engine friendly content management system based on the ideas of their previous CMS efforts (Keystone and rIntranet) but with SEO functionality, and less bugs. They have since sold their web design & development department and CMS Products.

With around 3 years of pizza experience I learned a lot about customer relations, increasing business, balancing costs, ordering and inventory, retaining clients, and sub selling.
