As a Junior IT Help Desk Technician at Advanced Studies of Health Science, I was able to gain valuable experience during my first real job after high school from August 2021 to May 2022. In this role, I had the opportunity to work with the IT help desk and web development team, which provided me with exposure to various areas on the field. Some of the basic skills I developed during my time in this position include: Web development: I gained experience in web development using languages like HTML, Visual Basic, and JavaScript, which gave me a deeper understanding of the development process. Communication skills: As part of my role, I interacted with end-users and worked with team members, which helped me improve my communication skills and ability to work in a team. Time management: Working in a fast-paced environment taught me how to prioritize tasks and manage my time effectively. Analytical skills: In resolving technical issues, I learned how to analyze data and information to develop effective solutions. Overall, my experience as a Junior IT Help Desk Technician at Advanced Studies of Health Science provided me with the foundational skills necessary to pursue a successful career in the field of IT.
