  As a TV Rec agent, my primary duty was to test and or repair TV logic boards, and power supply boards. Initially, I was assigned to the Gateway Re-flow project, where a co-worker and I serviced, Gateway computer motherboards for the Parts department. Later, I became the sole agent, responsible for triaging, component level repairing, and testing the boards. In this expanded role, I performed inventory control duties, and worked with the PC Reclamation and the Parts department to coordinate the receiving and shipping of the motherboards. As a CIA agent, I serviced the client’s computer, by diagnosing the problem, and deciding on a course of repair. If parts were needed, to repair the unit, I utilized a parts and repair management system, to order the part(s), and later install them. Once repaired, the computer is given a performance, test to verify the functionality of the client’s computer, before it is processed for shipping. Calling the client, informing them of repair costs and progress, and addressing their concerns is also the role of an agent. Additionally, I participated in many special projects, including OS restoration projects, and various projects associated with, Best Buy for Business. Show less
