  The Business Manager is a full time management position solely responsible for all general, personnel, production, quality and technical management of the Airflite activities in support of the Military Jet programs at both the Pearce and Williamtown sites. The position is required to establish and maintain quality procedures and practices within the contract organisation that meet contract management requirements and ensure engineering and workshop standards and practices are maintained. In undertaking these functions, the position is to ensure that Airflite meets both the profitability and performance requirements of its contracts. In addition, the Business Manager undertakes the role of primary Senior Maintenance Manager as prescribed by the Australian Defence Force Airworthiness Authority for all work undertaken by Airflite in support of the contracts at the specified locations.The Business Manager area of responsibility incorporates business and technical oversight of the processes of maintaining and supplying aviation components and manpower over the East and West coast facilities as contracted, including general aircraft component maintenance, specialised ordnance maintenance, and ancillary activities such as ensuring repair of ground support equipment and tooling.Full contract liaison with the customers is within scope of this position.
