  I was employed as a subject leader in Philosophy and RE. This role has seen me develop the Scheme of Work offered to Years 7-11. I have created lesson material and assessments that can be used to ensure progress throughout each of these year groups. I have developed the engagement that existed so that the pupils understand the skills required for extended writing in RE and that they understand how they can transfer these skills into success in other subjects.

  I spent 12 Years as an RE teacher at Saltley School in Birmingham. During my time at Saltley I undertook a number of additional responsibilities. These included:Head of Year 7 from Sept 2008-2014.
