  Greencore is a convenience food manufacturer and the UKs largest sandwich manufacturer producing over 700m sandwiches and Food to Go products per year. The Greencore Northampton site was purchased in 2011 and is the sole manufacturer of sandwiches, wraps and other Food to Go products for Marks and Spencer, producing over 150m units per year across 5 business units. The unit I manage produces approx. 40m wraps, rolls and café products per year. Roles and responsibilities: • Shift based Operations management leading various departments on site including manufacturing, Preparation and packing both high care and low risk • Direct Line Management of 6 Zone managers. • Manage multi-disciplined diverse team of 350+ people including 30% agency staff • Complete people centered activities including RTW, performance reviews. • Drive performance through KPI monitoring to identify opportunities and support P&L review • Deputize for Head of Operations as required Accomplishments: • Identified improvement opportunities in H&S and implemented new processes to ensure compliance, recognized by site H&S for improvements • Mentored Zone Managers to be more effective leaders, introducing new models to the site to support team performance, development and engagement • Introduced new performance review structure including all levels of shift management • Managed unit through the challenging times of COVID19. Adapting to rapidly changing situation supporting the implementation of new H&S controls and receiving positive feedback from HSE and EHO during site visits, whilst maintaining safety, quality, supply and service
