  My name Darron Mills is I was born in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies and migrated to the United States in 1997. I attended Coppin State University in Baltimore Maryland where I obtained a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and was inducted into Phi Sigma Iota, which is the Psychology National Honors Society. I previously worked as a Recreation Therapist at Seagate Nursing and Rehabilitation, Brooklyn NY which allowed me to demonstrate and utilize my leadership skills, coaching abilities to our interns and residents, which included assisting them with personal life issues at times, and by developing programs that are fun, and stress releasing unconsciously to them. As a case manager at Madison York Assisted Living facility in Queens NYC, I assisted consumers search for employment, assisting with job applications along with helping them with job development placement for consumers who were recently homeless due to a disability and wanted training to eventually discharge from facility and return to the single site community. Through my coursework, I acquired in depth computer proficiency and a thoughtful belief in the importance of effective communication in today’s growing industrial. I am very excited about this field of personal development, implementing programs with staff and consumers, mental health advocacy, wellness care, mindset focus, and coaching especially with adolescents and adults in my community. I am goal oriented, driven, and not afraid of hard work; also willing to be a productive administrative member for your organization or business, and believe that I am best qualified. I very much look forward to the opportunity to speak with any mental health & wellness care vocational services company in person or online about putting me in a position to be able to educate about anxiety, depression and how to reduce stress or completely eradicate these things in our community.
