I would like to highly recommend the services of Darrin Hunter and his team at Red 29. I had the pleasure of working with Darrin at the National Museum of Australia for over 4 years. Darrin was engaged as the Museum’s Infrastructure Architect. During that time Darrin was instrumental in architecting and implementing the Museums strategic infrastructure roadmap. The Museum was transformed from a very constrained, problematic ICT environment of many end-of-life physical servers, multiple failing backup infrastructure and a variety of storage solutions to a highly available and scalable environment operating on virtual server clusters, single backup solution and centralised SAN storage. The new environment then allowed the Museum to implement a very cost effective Disaster Recovery capability which Darrin architected. As well as architecting, Darrin is very much hands on and was usually involved in the physical implementation work. He was ably assisted on a number of projects by Chris Walters who works for Darrin. Not only is Darrin and his staff very technically sound, they are very professional, have a high work ethic and are very accommodating. I can’t speak more highly of Darrin and would be happy to provide a reference for Red 29 at any time. Chris Gill (former NMA CIO).
