Strong Agronomy is an ecologically-minded farm management company in the Green Valley of Watsonville, California. We’re founded on the belief that Regenerative Agriculture and decentralized local food production is the only long-term viable alternative to current commercial agricultural practices. Our mission is to grow healthy plants by making the most efficient use of the sun, air, water, and plant nutrition. We have designed a system of crop production that brings together the infrastructure of a hydroponic facility with an organic and biologically focused nutrient delivery system. Our Certified Organic farm is an example of how we can harness the power of biology to drive photosynthesis and cultivate crops in small containers. Coastal Moon Berry Farms is the first "powered by Strong Agronomy" brand. In just a few short years of organic blueberry production we've launched into Good Eggs, Whole Foods Markets, Earl's Organics, Erowans, and the Live Earth Farm CSA. Our technologically advanced growing style, extensive nutrient regimen, and cutting edge sustainability measures have gained us many accolades in a very short time. With a Whole Foods Responsibly Grown Program rating of "BEST", we've achieved a standard that no first year grower has been able to accomplish before.
