Matthew Borger

I had the pleasure of working with Darren for 18 months. Darren was my key contact at Qantas Airways during this time. Darren has a strong collaborative approach to the way he manages his working relationships. Being new to the Aviation Industry when we started to work together, Darren's support, guidance and advice was valuable to my development. Darren's expertise in Domestic Aviation is second to none. The insights he was able to provide to me were always of the highest quality. Darren's ability to understand your businesses needs and linking them to the capabilities his business can provide is industry leading. Proof of this is in the stronger than market recovery we achieved during COVID. Working closely with Darren delivered valuable results for both our organisations. I will miss not working with Darren but I look forward to watching his next chapter unfold from afar. I have no hesitation in recommending Darren to future employers.

Darren is an absolute professional and has an immense skill set and network across the industry. We were fortunate enough to partner with Darren in his Regional sales leadership role as we were undertaking our acquisition of Coffs Harbour Airport. Darren was instrumental in guiding me to key partners and decision makers in the region, and to collaborate on sales and marketing initiatives as we great the Qantas network at the port. This drove significant revenue growth and strategically repositioned the airline and airport at a critical time. He is a likeable, knowledgeable and passionate individual and I hope we can work together again in the future.
