I have known Darren since January 2011 , during the commission and handover of the Hindhead Tunnel , which opened in July 2011 . As a Senior Operator his attitude and attention to the task in hand cannot be faulted . As the M&E manager I consulted with Darren on a regular basis , with regards the tunnel status, and he was always uptodate with any issues that required M&E assistance or input . I would have no hesitation in reccomending Darren for any similar position , and his new employers would be very satisfied with his performance.

As part of my role at the Hindhead Tunnel, I have both worked alongside Darren as part of the Technical team as well as reported to him directly operationally. Darren has built up a great deal of experience and knowledge, both in his previous roles on Area 3 as well as in his current position as a Supervisor at the Hindhead Tunnel. Darren is always a pleasure to work alongside and to also report to directly, and I would not hasten to recommend him for any role or new challenge that presents itself.
