Responsible for delivery of the business plan objectives for North West, North East, Scotland and NI and that of our key strategic accounts. Head of account management team
-
Nov 2007 - 2015
I took responsibility for leading a team of exceptional Head office account managers (all still with Nucleus in progressed roles). With an increased number of advisory firms joining, I subsequently introduced a UK regional team. I'm passionate on data to help and support the business and introduced and embedded Salesforce (CRM system). To help support our users in developing competency in using the platform, I introduced Ignite (Onboarding framework). During this time, I am proud to have set up Regional practice development groups, allowing our user firms the ability to share challenges/successes. I also worked closely with NIFAC (Nucleus IFA Company Ltd) and regular attendee at quarterly Advisory Board. Show less

Financial Consultant
-
1996 - 1998
As a new entrant to Financial services, I initially had extensive sales and product training (that I still regard as exceptional) where I took on the role as a Financial consultant, advising clients. The role involved significant business development (acquiring new clients), while also reviewing existing clients. I was very fortunate to be mentored by Earl Glasgow and David Stewart. Two people I still hold in high regard.
