      Served as Corridor Superintendent on the BNSF Montana Division. Traffic on this division is heavily focused on unit crude, unit grain and premium intermodal operations. The Montana division is primarily a bridge division for manifest and intermodal traffic where the primary goal for these business units is to maximize velocity and on time performance. The territory has more recently been the focus of originating crude shipments out of the Bakken shale formation centered onWilliston, ND. During my tenure on the Montana Division I oversaw operations during a period of very heavy capital expansion when over 100 miles of second main line was constructed to support crude oil shipments. During this same time frame we handled record grain shipments originating on the Twin Cities and Montana Divisions moving toward the Pacific Northwest, as well as heavy coal demand across southern Montana, North and South Dakota.       Served as Corridor Superintendent on the BNSF Nebraska Division with heavy focus on unit coal and grain operations. The Nebraska Division is a critical part of BNSF’s core coal route centered on the terminal in Lincoln, NE where over 100 trains per day are processed. Primary functions of the Nebraska Division Corridor Supt included planning maintenance and train operations for the territory between Ravenna, NE east to Galesburg, IL; north to Sioux City, IA and south toKansas City, MO. During spring of 2011 BNSF experienced devastating flooding throughout the Missouri River valley between Omaha and Kansas City. I was involved in network level planning and executed the diversion plans which included negotiation of temporary trackage rights and detour agreements with foreign carriers. As corridor Supt, I led a team which included an Assistant Corridor Supt, 10 Chief dispatchers, 5 Managers of Corridor Operations (Crew Planning) and 30 Train Dispatchers.

      Served as Corridor Superintendent on the BNSF Texas Division with heavy focus on manifest and intermodal operations. Territorial responsibilities included subdivisions centered around the Fort Worth area and extending to Amarillo, TX; Temple, TX; Teague, TX and Oklahoma, OK. This position required extensive coordination with UPRR, TRE Commuter Operations, FWRR. During this time I was extensively involved in planning meetings for the eventual reconstruction of Tower 55 and the surrounding operations. As corridor Supt, I led a team which included an Assistant Corridor Supt, 10 Chief dispatchers, 5 Managers of Corridor Operations (Crew Planning) and 30 Train Dispatchers

      Served as Terminal Superintendent over the Fort Worth Terminal complex including 4 classification yards (Alliance yard in Haslet, TX; Saginaw yard in Saginaw, TX; North Yard in Fort Worth, TX and Cleburne yard in Cleburne, TX as well as line operations between Fort Worth and Temple, TX). In this role I directly managed a team which included 2 Terminal Managers, 12 Trainmasters, 5 Assistant Trainmasters, 10 Yardmasters and over 250 TYE employees. My primary focus as Terminal Superintendent was safe production. In 2007 my team set a safety record with 365 consecutive injury free days for the Fort Worth Terminal. I was provided an opportunity to reimagine the overall operation of the terminal complex, significantly reducing crosssyard volumes by rationalizing the classification and industry servicing functions of each yard and negotiating reciprocal interchange agreements with local UPRR and FWWR operations.

      Served as Superintendent of Operations based in Lafayette, Louisiana with responsibility for line operations between Houston and New Orleans and across BNSF trackage right on the UPRR between Houston and Memphis, TN. This territory included classification yards in Beaumont, TX; Lafayette, LA; New Orleans, LA; Longview, TX; and Pine Bluff, AR. Large portions of my territory fell under trackage rights and joint line operating agreements with the UPRR which required extensive cooperation and relationship building with other carriers. Operations in Beaumont, TX and Lake Charles, LA included interchange with both UPRR and KCS railroads. Operations in New Orleans included extensive cooperation with the New Orleans Public Belt RR, KCS, UPRR, CN, CSXT and NS. Following hurricanes Katrina and Rita in close succession in 2005, I assumed responsibility for BNSF plastic SIT operations in Dayton, TX with average inventories of over 2500 loaded plastic hoppers. Management of this operations included servicing of prime petrochemical customers between Dayton and Baytown, TX. In this role I managed a team which included a Terminal Manager, six Trainmasters, five Yardmasters and 200 TYE.In August 2005, I led the team for advanced planning and disaster recovery efforts before and after Hurricane Katrina while working as Superintendent of Operations in Lafayette, LA with responsibility for main line and rail yard operations between Houston and New Orleans. Following landfall I participated in aerial assessments of railroad infrastructure and the greater New Orleans area that evening and ground level inspection on August 31 under police escort. During recovery and due to extended outages of connecting carriers, I initiated negotiations between labor relations and UTU/BLE to provide temp transfer opportunities and guaranteed pay benefits for our train operations employees to minimize workforce losses pending restoration of operations.

      Served as Chief Dispatcher II (later titled Assistant Corridor Supt) in the Spring Dispatching offices co-located in the UPRR SOC with UPRR and KCS officers and dispatchers. I led a team of 5 Chief Dispatchers, 5 Crew planners a crew manager as well as 35 dispatchers. The position required extensive cooperation with UPRR and KCS across both Joint Line and Trackage rights territories. Territorial responsibilities included Joint operations in Houston terminal complex and Lafayette Subs, BNSF subdivisions between Temple, TX; Teague, Texas and Houston and the Lafayette Sub and Trackage rights operations between Houston and Memphis and between Galveston and Corpus Christi. This operation required extensive relationship building with both UPRR managers and dispatchers.

While on duty I oversaw the on duty yardmasters and assistant trainmaster. In this role, I was provided flexibility to make significant changes in the operation of the classification yard and allowed to manage the hiring of a new trainmaster.
