  As an Orientation Specialist, my job is to ensure a smooth transition from the buying process of the home building process to being homeowners for all customers. In this role, I am responsible for the organizing all meetings with customers to teach them the home maintenance, warranty and building process in a manner that benefits them in ensuring a well-maintained home for years to come. This role also is a quality control position to ensure all homes are built to a high standard for all customers, which requires experience and knowledge of the building process, industries standards, challenges and products.This role requires me to be the connecting voice in the company between our Sales Construction, and Warranty teams. I take the customers from the Sales team to transition them into homeowners. I take our well-built homes from our Construction team and teach them homeowner in how to operate them home. I teach them homeowner on warranty and maintenance responsibilities to assist our Warranty team in their job.Using my past knowledge and experience in customer service, banking, account, and construction, it is critical that I am a self-starter with strong organizational skills and able to build relationships quickly with people of all backgrounds. I work independently, yet within a large team, requiring strong communication techniques and being pro-active with all tasks to provide leadership and support to customers, trades, and co-workers alike.

  As a Lead Assistant, my role was to train, teach and help organize other Assistants Supervisors in their jobs. Lending support to various Sits Supervisors and Field Managers, it was critical to be able to work indeendently in a responsibily manner, while communicating effectively with co-workers in different levels to ensure quality and effiecient home builds. The job required knowldge of the residential building process on different levels and a variety of different hands-on skills to get the job done and teach others to do so themselves.

  As the Assistant Superintendent, my role was support the Site Supervisor in the construction of residential homes. Tasks ranging from keeping sites safe, clean and organized, to many repair/renovation tasks throughout the build, as well as interacting with various trades on a daily basis, the job was always changing and required good organizational skills and ability to work well with others. It was a terrific way to see many different aspects of home building.

In addition, I was heavily relied upon to produce reports for our annual auditing while staying on top of the regular day-to-day work load.
