In June, I co-taught an intermediate Production, Quality, & Manufacturing (PQM) course to two groups of Afghanistan National Army and Police officers in Philadelphia.I went on terminal leave on 29 November and retired from the Air Force on 1 February 2012 after 20 years of active duty service.

      Working with my wife, Tammy, to manage our hobby farm (formerly dairy goat operation) just south of Mifflinburg, PA. I'm there on the weekends tending animals, cleaning pens, etc. Sold our dairy goats and milk equipment in 2016. We have a small boer goat herd (~15 does + 2 bucks), Hampshire sheep herd (26 ewes + a ram), 3 dozen chickens, plus other animals we keep as pets. Managed one IDIQ contract awarded on 19 July 2010 to one Afghan vendor to make combat boots for the ANA and ANP for up to 5 years; source selection completed and contracts awarded in March 2011 to two other Afghan vendors to make boots. 3. Managed six IDIQ contracts awarded to three Afghan women-owned businesses in early Aug 2010 to make 23 Organizational Clothing & Individual Equipment (OCIE) items for the ANA and ANP for up to 5 years, valued up to $365M. 4. Managed over 10 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with over a dozen Afghan companies supplying 8 commodity items to Afghan forces. 5. Developed and taught basic requirements generation seminar to 10 ANP item managers. 6.
