  As an intermediate care assistant I was responsible for the safe transportation of patients to and from hospital appointments, as well as the transfer of critically ill patients between intensive care units. The job taught me great people skills, often having to provide support and reassurance to patients at there lowest ebb, and the ability to resolve conflicts in a calm and effective manner. Trained in intermediate first person on seen (FPOS) first aid, and IHCD emergency ambulance driving, I was involved in continuous personal development during my time in the ambulance service, expanding my skill set, and giving me many transferable attributes suitable for future employment.
