Construction of N109A - North-South Corridor (Tunnel) and Cross Island Line Teck Ghee Station CR12 • Review contractors’ Method of Statements (MS), Endorsed Drawings, Risk Assessment (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) prior to commencement of works • Prepare and submit Permit To Dig (PTD) and Request For Inspections to the relevant parties and authorities (LTA and QPS team) in a timely manner to ensure control and quality check by both Shanghai Tunnel persons and Qualified Persons • Oversee, supervise and ensure Sub-contractor’s works (Excavation, Rebar Fabrication, Formwork Details and Casting) completed in a safe and timely manner to meet proposed Master Programme Temporary Works 1. Drain Diversion: • Successfully commissioned to PUB temporary Stage 1 Drain Diversion works for 500m of drains on each bound (South Bound and North Bound) • Backfilled and abandoned existing live drain after commissioning of newly live drain • Completed a section of Permanent Drains along Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 for final reinstatement 2. Road Diversion: • Successfully completed 2 Major Road Diversions (swinging of Amk Ave 6 lanes Southwards and bifurcation of Marymount Road) inclusive of Utilities Diversion and Drain Diversion 3. NSC North and South Excavation and Strutting Works Permanent Works 1. BKSR Water Diversion: • Laying of 2.2m and 1.8m diameter steel pipes in both open cut (32m width profile) and sheet piling ERSS scenarios • Ensure sufficient space for crawler crane working platform and access • Ensure engagement fulfilled under PUB's specifications, welding, air pressure and holiday test checked throughly by CWI • Commenced JGP works for Jacking Shaft breakthrough with 2.2m and 1.8m cladded pipes 2. Appointed as the Team Leader to manage, lead and guide 2 key teams (Civil Structure (CS) Team and the Machine (MCH) Team) within the SBST Permanent Way (P-way) department to constantly ensure smooth running and execution of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan and Corrective Maintenance Works. - Reviewed and revised department maintenance's documents, validated and reviewed contract specifications and contractor's Schedule of Rates (SOR) according to approved budget allocation. - Managed the co-ordination of both Contractors, Management and Ground Staff to execute time-sensitive works to allow the smooth running of train services for the public. - Worked closely with the Professional Engineer (PE) to check the condition of all LRT Viaduct Bearings installments for the Sengkang - Punggol LRT - Worked closely with the Professional Engineer (PE) to check and rectify existing leakages of Tunnels of the whole North - East Line (NEL) system Key Achievements: - Proposed and executed changes to the maintenance plan for the year 2018 with 2 additional Preventive Maintenance (PM) regimes to prevent similar occurrence of SMRT tunnel flooding (2018) - Managed department's internal and external audits with SBST, LTA and third-party auditors (Examples are: LTA System Audit (2018), LTA Tunnel Sump Pumps Audit (2019), ISO 9001) - In-charge of the proper survey of the Viaduct Bearings for the Sengkang - Punggol LRT before handing over to LTA's appointed contractors to carry out Viaduct Bearing replacement works - Ensured the proper maintenance the P-Way system that led to the entire MRT network achieving a Mean Kilometres Between Failure* (MKBF) *MKBF measures the distance traveled between breakdown of more than 5 mins.
