I had the pleasure of working under Darren on the WB show Jellystone, It was my first time doing layouts and painting backgrounds outside of pitching shows and I was grateful to have someone like Darren steering the ship! He not only was ready and wiling to take any questions but offered feedback in a highly constructive way - It's not often you get the chance to be mentored in a working roll so I was lucky enough to not only get to work with a super talented group of artists but learn a tonne too!
