To install new CMM programs ready for samples to be measured against.Quotes for new parts including costs for labour, materials, components and fixtures.Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to required Coordinate with Operations and team leaders to develop and implement Manufacturing Plan for products.Monitor operations of product and evaluate designs and ensure adherence to all design and manufacture principles.Liasing with new and existing suppliers for tooling and fixtures.

  To Develop and fabricate tubular prototype parts, Built to customer drawings and within small tolerances.Parts are then Quality checked to CMM to conform with customer requirements.Tube size ranges from 4mm to 127mm in diameter and made from mild, Aluminised, Stainless material. also parts can have multiple components such as Flanges, Brackets, Bosses, expanded / reduced ends and Branch pieces.Also within my role is to modify / calibrate existing Jig fixtures.SKILLS• Lathe• Miller• Drilling• Mig tack welding• Programming CMM measuring machine• Calibration• Development of Prototypes• Reading/ converting of Customer drawings.
