I reported to Darren for the past 15 months when he was CEO at PCYC NSW. He was extremely passionate and committed to the mission of the organisation and always approached his job with the highest level of professionalism, ethics and integrity. Darren developed and empowered a very effective and cohesive senior management team and provided this team with the support that ensured the successful delivery of the PCYC Mission and improving opportunities for young people throughout NSW. Darren’s strong leadership and outstanding stakeholder management skills have left the PCYC NSW in a very sound position. I have enjoyed and appreciated the time that I have worked with Darren and I wish him well in his role at the YMCA Australia.

I was honored to have the opportunity to steer this wonderful organisation through COVID and a Federal Government funding cycle with renewed funding and increased reach and impact across our site based suicide prevention programs and services. Our application of program logic, new evaluation framework, and incorporation of co-design and lived experience , have been instrumental in preparing OzHelp for greater investment by funders and ensured increased capacity and reach to high risk hard to reach workers nationally. A transformative journey which I am proud to have led.
