  As a senior process engineer, I was a member of the cross-functional refinery team comprised of Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Planning, that was entrusted with the optimization, reliability and safety of daily refinery operations and gained operating experience on most of the refinery processes. During unit turnarounds, I also supervised and coordinated the activities of outside contractors and refinery operations staff relating to catalyst change outs. Responsible for initiating and evaluating the technical feasibility of capital projects for my unit areas. This included developing project economics and justification.

Member of the Refinery Management Information System team, that developed functional specifications and data flows for an integrated accounting and volumetric system. Study cost $500K.Managed a staff of three responsible for refinery volumetric and operational functions.
