Leadership Fellow for the Isabella Cannon Leadership Program
-
Sep 2013 - Jun 2017
Organized and ran a Youth Leadership Camp for 150 7th and 8th graders. Maintained an active role in campus organizations, community service, and the LEAD Program as a tier team captain facilitating connections among freshmen leaders. For my position as a leadership fellow, I also implemented a common good project – a sustainable project that would have a positive effect on Elon’s campus and relevant links to a major global issue. I identified poverty as a global issue and thought North Carolina, a state downtrodden with people living below the poverty line, could greatly benefit from this event. This project implemented a one day long “Elon University Sponsored Financial Literacy and Economic Justice” Conference - the first of its kind at the school. Please visit the 'Projects' section to view the budget I created for the event utilizing Oracle Crystal Ball and other advanced Excel capabilities.
