Company BackgroundMerck Sharp & Dohme is the second largest pharmaceutical company in the world with facilities throughout Ireland and the world. In 2013 MSD announced the shutdown of the plant in Swords with a target completion year of 2017. Responsibilities:• Joined a contractor team, MGM. Brought in to decommission the plant during final stage. • The GMP plant previously employed approximately 570 people with an annual manufacturing capacity of 3 billion tablets, 65 million sachets and 42 million cartons of finished products.• Researched, prepared and executed decommissioning reports for plant equipment and systems. These included several HVAC systems and Process Hot Water System.

DHH Engineering Ltd was set up as a Design and Development Engineering consultation company which grew to include Project Management. The initial focus was on small to medium sized firms but over the past 2 years we have worked indirectly and directly with large multi nationals.
