  Originally, I started as Medical Social Worker for Southeast Home Health, This was part-time position and slow, so, I was not getting a lot of hrs. While I was there, I was contacted by Sr Lifestyles, a geriatric psych unit, to fill in while their BSW social worker went on vacation. This went on to full-time position. However, I learned that geriactric psych was not for me. I returned to Southease Hospital as Medical Social Worker in the hospital. We do A LOT of dc planning,. However, I work evenings and my position is primarily psych assessments in ER and disposition. Show less

  I started as classroom instructor while I was attending college for BSW abd worked my way up as I was going to college. After I obtained my MSW, I was transferred to Hayti, Mo as Clinical Director and then transferred to Cape, I left there approx 5/6 yrs ago.
