I have worked with Darlene in several capacities and each time have been very impressed by her dedication to whatever the end goal is. We've worked together on industry event committees and she always did what she said she would do, rare in a volunteer. We've worked together in sales efforts and her commitment to working through to the end is always inspiring. When I felt it was good enough, she always wanted one more look, just to be sure and in the end she was always right - that one last tweak made all the difference. Darlene assisted with social media efforts for our start up company and the creativity and ability to use minimal resources to maximum effect was always exactly what we needed, just when we needed it. In short, Darlene has always been a great example for me to follow - she does what she says she will, complete to the last detail, with the creativity to turn something small into something extraordinary!

      In this leadership role, I was responsible for selling and producing a national market across the U.S. I drove sales by developing meaningful client relationships and gaining a deep understanding of customer needs, expectations, and values. This holistic account management approach resulted in account retention, dynamic contract negotiations, cross-selling and upselling opportunity identification, and account growth. On the business development side, I astutely managed the budgets for my book of sold business and the events I produced. In doing so, I cut costs by 4.7%.
