Darius is an extremely fast learner. In the short time I managed him, he was able to pick up Python/Flask/Postgres and deliver a REST API in less than 2 weeks. His professionalism stood out, asked good questions when he had trouble understanding concepts, asked for help when blocked in a timely manner and proactively communicated exceptionally. He would be a valuable addition to any team.

Darius is an amazing engineer whose dedication, collaboration and resourcefulness I loved while he was on the team, and he displayed this in his management of his product team. When Darius joined the team, he was mainly interested in discovering how Cybersecurity/hacking could meet with DevOps, although most of what the tasks he handled were not related to the former, he was still able to leverage DevOps to do awesome things on the team. One of the interesting things he did was the transitioning of the product's CI/CD pipeline from CircleCI to Jenkins, which made it possible for the team to save cost (of managing a Continuous Integration pipeline) while also giving the team more control over the pipeline. Managing Darius was a seamless experience as he showed lots of initiative, which made it easy to give him feedback on a high level and not having to micromanage him. Darius's attitude towards his work as a DevOps engineer is a thing to be emulated and praised, if he joined any team today, I am certain that he would be bringing the core industry DevOps standards with him.

- Worked and implemented migrating the CI/CD tools from Circle CI to Jenkins CI for purposes of cost efficiency and reliability in code delivery to staging, QA[quality assurance] and production environments.- Implemented a Redis service to be used on the Activo Product.- Created implementation to add blue-green deployment to all products on the apprenticeship space, to ensure quick and reliable rollback in case of deployment that makes any of products un-usable due to unforeseen bugs.- I implemented load testing of the product that assisted in creating a reliable infrastructure for the product- Implemented Pod and Node auto-scaling to ensure that the product was available in times when we had a lot of traffic.- Implemented Prometheus to assist in monitoring the Product to get useful data insights on the optimizations to be made.
