From December 2020 until January 2021, Daria was my teacher, online as well as on-site. She is a demanding but also patient teacher, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that her students fully understand the material. She was able to make the lessons informative and enjoyable, which is not easy for such a difficult language. I would highly recommend Daria to anyone looking to learn Russian. Спасибо большое Дарья

Daria has been my Russian tutor for over a year and a half. I am astonished at the level I achieved through her help and guidance. I started lessons at a complete beginner level and in only a short period of time, I achieved an intermediate level (also achieving an A+ in my university course for second-year Russian). When we started, I only knew the alphabet, thinking that learning Russian was impossible. Her skilled methodology in teaching Russian as a foreign language, made me not only look forward to Russian class but made me fall in love with Russian in the process. She exposed me to the beauty of the Russian language, making me want to keep intensively studying the language in hopes of eventually going for a Ph.D. in Slavic linguistics. She is patient, kind, and encouraging allowing me to feel comfortable and confident in class (even when I make mistakes). Her prowess in languages and linguistics is also excellent, as she always provides more insight into the Russian language when I have questions about its linguistic history, for example. I always look forward to lessons with her (which is why I have continued our lessons for so long)! As an English instructor, I also want to commend her on her strong skillset in English. She speaks as if she is a native English speaker, something very hard to attain even for people who are completely fluent in my mother tongue. Thank you, Daria!

I worked as a coordinator of freelance translators. I followed the whole process of translating texts to a target language: En-RU, RU-EN, DE-RU, SP-RU, RU-IT, etc. Topics of translations varies from technical ones, such as metallurgy, building to IT, medicine, law. I cheked results after translators and gave commands to editors and layout designers. I used SDL Trados Studio. I worked as a coordinator of freelance translators. I met guests at the restaurant and told them about wine on the menu, recommended what was better to choose. I also worked with a cash desk. Before starting work I had a special course for future sommeliers where I was introduced to various tipes of wine from different countries.
