Darcy Southwell is simply remarkable! I worked with Darcy when I was the Director of Enterprise Learning at Endurance International Group. Darcy was instrumental in weaving Ethics and Compliance into our DNA at Endurance. She did this by gaining senior leadership buy-in, implementing creative ways to train employees on Ethics and Compliance, and reinforcing learning transfer throughout the employee life cycle. Darcy sets high standards for herself and her team and she demonstrates honesty and keeps commitments. Darcy is an outstanding person with character, integrity, and substance and I would without hesitation recommend Darcy to any organization that is looking for a professional in the truest sense of the word.

Darcy was the first co-chair of our Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, bringing important focus on an issue that tried to solve some of the major problems we have in tech where the right voices aren’t represented. It’s within that group that I watched Darcy’s leadership really shine. After about a year running the group, Darcy had received enough feedback and experience to propose a complete reinvention of our purpose and approach. Under her leadership, we rebuilt the group to focus on providing education to the tech community about how to aspire to inclusion, and how to raise under-represented voices. In her leadership capacity, she led the group on a number of important series of guidances within our own community, taking on subjects such as paid parental leave, and a series of excellent engagements on unconscious bias. Darcy has an amazing ability to uplevel any conversation. When we get stuck in the weeds, she can take us back up to the things we are looking to achieve, and pull us back to purpose and intention so we can go back into the weeds and solve the problems. She’s happy to ask whether we are asking the right questions. She’s good at identifying when we don’t have the right people in the room, then going to get those people. If you are looking for a thoughtful problem solver, you'll find a great one in Darcy.
