  I laid the pillars of foundation of CWCNSL along with its promoter Mr. NAK Reddy. A start-up at the time in an emerging market, which I helped successfully turned into a half a billion dollar company along with the support of the promoters like Warburg Pincus, World Bank, Aureous Capital, Abraaj Group, IL&FS, IDBI. My support team was pivotal in creating the company's and my success story. I managed to give CWCNSL the name of leading CFS,ICD & PFT operator in the India Sub-Continent. The skills I developed at my previous organisations thanks to my mentors Mr.Behram Dubash & Mr.Khushroo Byramjee helped me steer the ship of CWCNSL to its great heights. Overseeing Operations for smooth flow of business, Contracts with Shipping Lines & Forwarders, Maintaining good relations with vendors. Developing Businesses with Global & APAC Region Heads of NVOCC,Shipping Lines,Consolidators, Consignees. A few of major clients have been DHL,Fedex,Kuehne+Nagel,UPS,Evergreen,HMM,APL,ONE,NYK,Yang Ming,KMTC,Seahorse Group. I developed business and offices on a PAN India level, with a vision of creating a profitable company and creating rich goodwill. At the end of my tenure with CWNCSL I developed more than 8 facilities nationwide spanning more than a 1000 acres with a group turnover of more Rs.2000 CR INR. Show less

  I joined as General Manager with Edulji M B Cashinath & Sons which later went on to become Casby Logistics. My initial role was to oversee port operations, enhance cash flow, develop business, policy framing, team management and other many other activities. I was also instrumental in starting the sister concern Eagle Freight Forwarders, which had a fleet of a 100 vehicles. It was a rich and challenging learning experience for me, which shaped me for my next assignment.   Working at the DBC Group, is where I built the foundation of my career in the Shipping Industry. I initially started as an accounts assistant where I learnt my basics and got my field knowledge working in the Bombay Port Trust from where I went on to become the General Manager. My initial responsibilities were assisting in billing, finalization of accounts, recovery and collection from the various shipping lines and customers. A few years on, I was transferred to the operations team where I build my hands on experience in stevedoring, complete vessel operations,equipment & labour management and dealing with various other parties involved. At DBC Group I have had personal experience working with Ship Owners, Charterers, Brokers, Shipping Lines a few to name would be I have had the privilge to work with Great Easter Shipping, Croatia Lines, SCI, MOL,NYK, USSR Lines, Hansa Line.
