Creative Events Manager

2017 - Aug 2018
Sub-contracted to Noiascape - a West London based mixed use property development company founded by architects Tom and James Teatum, I have been the Events Manager responsible for a programme of exhibitons, workshops and events taking place within a vacant building on the High Street. This project has been a speculation upon the future of High Streets. It was an invitation to the community to engage with creativity and informal learning in a safe and interesting space. It provided an opportunity to connect with different cultures, backgrounds, age-groups, to breakdown barriers and spark conversations. The programme comprised of 10 lead occupiers within the space, including - artists, athletes, retailers, charities, to name but a few. The number of collaborators, participants and passive observers increased week by week, as word spread throughout the community. The overall response was joyous testimony to the human ability to create, to learn, to converse and to connect. Show less
