Daphne served as a student recruiter/admissions counselor at Southeastern Louisiana University during the time I was transitioning from high school to college. She provided a wealth of resources, guidance and comfort to me as a student with a lot of decisions to make. Her personable demeanor and positive attitude made her approachable and easy to talk to. Pretty much everyone on campus knew her and continued to go to her for guidance during our time as collegiates at Southeastern. I think she may be the reason why SLU was the "Fastest Growing University in the US" in the late 90s!
