I worked with Dan on our rental car platform at Placepass. I was very impressed with his ability to operate independently without supervision, as well as the speed at which he was able to ramp up on our very non-standard ReactJS codebase. Dan lead the initiative to integrate Stripe as a payments processor. The integration used a bleeding-edge beta library released by Stripe, utilizing web hooks. As the library was brand new, Dan actively reported several issues to the Stripe team on their GitHub repo, along with suggestions on where fixes needed to happen in their codebase.
