Bio
Joanna Hui
As previous student of Danny's Intellectual Property and the Law Course, I highly recommend him as lecturer of the course. Danny is highly passionate about Intellectual Property related area and willing to share his knowledge with his students. He replied to my questions about the subject promptly after lecture in great details. He featured his lectures with lively examples and notable cases which initiated my interests in intellectual property. He also enriched our knowledge by briefing us the development of Intellectual Property Law in Europe. I recommend Danny without reservation as his previous student.

Danny Friedmann is a passionate contributor to public international law by conducting legal research into enforced prostitution during W.W.II by Japanese military and personnel in the Dutch East Indies (in the Batavia Trails). He acted as foreign principle in this cross-continental assigned, in which he supported the Dutch contribution to this research enthusiastically. Danny kindly and efficiently instructed a group of 10 LLB-students of the University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam by providing accessible information from his residence in Hong Kong. By using diverse digital sources: the students could well relate to the legal issue after watching a documentary in which the victims, now in their late eighties, shared their stories. This inspired the students the conduct legal research in both Dutch National Archives and Royal Central Library on the former Dutch Batavia Courts rulings.
