Kedem Europe is the largest Importer & Distributor of kosher wine in the UK. My role: • Looking after approximately 120 current accounts in the UK & Europe, both Kosher and Mainstream; This requires introducing the clients to and selling them new products, maintaining their current stock, ensuring the growth of sales and most importantly sustaining client satisfaction. • Sourcing new clients i.e. Shops, Bars, Restaurants, Caterers, Hotels, Charities, Corporate and private accounts. • Sourcing new products- this is a personal favourite of mine which I do through various means of research including speaking to specific contacts I have, using the internet and attending wine and spirit events. • Events: As a wine educator I organise and run wine and spirit tastings; clients have so far included small retail units, large charity events and corporate networking evenings for companies such as BDO, PWC and Linklaters to name a few. The target of these events is to meet new clients, introduce and educate the individuals about new wines and ultimately make sales. I have also been asked by specific restaurants to match up their menus with the best wines to compliment the dishes. • Social Media- I run Kedem's Facebook and Twitter pages, updating the sites with new products, upcoming events and adverts daily Show less

The Wine Man was a new shop visualised, designed and run by myself. The shop was a modern wine and spirit experience which included a wine tasting machine for the clients to try new wines. My role as Managing Director included: • Selling- I thoroughly enjoyed introducing my clients to new wines and flavours and made a number of successful orders not only for individuals but also for large family and corporate events. • Ensuring client Satisfaction- It was always one of my main priorities to ensure the client was happy and satisfied • Ordering stock, sourcing new products and new business • I ran private wine tastings in the shop as well as at corporate films • Clientèle - I managed to build up a strong clientele list with over 4,000 individuals on my database • Social Media- I ran the Facebook and Twitter pages for The Wine Man and also sent out a monthly update to all my clients on the database. • Advertisements- I organised adverts for the shop which featured in local newspapers which highlighted specific deals I had at the shop, new products and any events coming up. The Wine Man had always been a vision of mine and the experience of having my own shop and being responsible for all that happened in it taught me a great deal of responsibility, flexibility and highlighted the importance of organisation and hard work. As The Sales Catering Executive I was responsible for: • The sales of frozen foods, wines, cheese and various other products nationwide. • This job gave me the opportunity to develop my skills in both sales and marketing and as a result I was able to build up a large client base. I regularly exceeded targets which had been set by management, for example breaking into the non kosher mainstream market with wines. My role at Strettons involved: • Developing marketing details, taking on instructions for acquisitions and disposals and reporting to clients. • I collated information through site visits, the internet and speaking to other agents in order to obtain comparable evidence.
