  Role description: Quality Assurance Analyst. The Hangar is in charge of a particular Nissan and Infiniti project called the MYU (Model Year Update). Basically the scope of the project is to update the model of all the vehicles by year. It consists on an update on the vehicle information, prices, photos, videos, trims, etc. Usually each project takes 6 weeks approximately and per year its about 34 model updates. My role as a QA is to verify that Nissan USA and Infiniti USA websites work according to the client requirements. Jira is the tool used for tickets and defects tracking. As a QA Junior my role is the following: • For each project I work as an owner, being in charge sometimes of one, two or three resources. • Test Cases creation. • I have 4 weeks to complete the QA testing. • Perform the quality process on 4 different servers: Validation, Preview, Stage and Production. • Verify each project on different languages: English, Spanish and Chinese. • Clarify the project scope and requirements with the PM and Tech Lead. Sometimes the communication is with PMs and Tech Leads located on USA and Canada. • Create defects and perform a correct tracking, in order to have a good control of the projects quality. • Perform regression testing before the site is approved to go to production. • Perform Cross-browsing testing. • Verify copy, price, layout and functionality. • Communicate inconsistencies that we found on the information provided for the project; for example copy inconsistencies (like incorrect disclaimers) and also assets that were provided but don’t correspond with the year update. • Perform responsive testing, iPad and mobile testing. • Verify the Marketing Science tags using Charles tool. • Verify the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the site. • Verify that the forms of the site work as expected.   Project: Mazda Canada and Mazda USA Role description: Quality Assurance Analyst. This period of the year is the one that Mazda uses to change the year model of their cars in their websites; they change the images, pricing, year model, copy, brochures, etc. Currently Possible is working on several MYCO (model year redesign) projects that are big projects whose purpose is precisely change the year of different models on the Mazda websites. My role as a QA was to verify that Mazda Canada and Mazda USA websites worked according to the client requirements. Jira is the tool used for tickets and defects tracking. I was a QA Junior freelancer that was covering the two MYCO projects for Mazda Canada (one for Mazda CX-5 and the other for Mazda6); both MYCO went to production (live) on February 12th. My role as a QA Junior was the following: •Verify 30 tickets per day (daily goal in order to deliver the project on time). •Verify each ticket on both languages: English and French. •Clarify the tickets scope and requirements with the PM, QA Lead in Costa Rica and the QA Lead in USA. •Create defects and perform a correct tracking, in order to have a good control of the projects quality. •Perform the quality process on different servers: QA, Approval, Stagging and Production. •Perform smoke test. •Perform regression testing before the site is approved to go to production: on weekly releases (2 releases per week) and the MYCO projects. •Perform Cross-browsing testing. •Perform responsive testing, iPad and mobile testing. •Verify the Metadata, XML and incentives of the website. I also helped Mazda USA team and my role was the following: •Test tickets for the Refresh Phase2, which is big project whose scope is to redesign the Mazda •Perform responsive testing: during the Refresh project testing we had to check on different desktop resolutions in order to verify that each desktop breakpoint wasn’t affected by the mobile update; also perform iPad and Mobile testing.
